De IDT7132/IDT7142 zijn hogesnelheid 2K x 8 Dual-Port Static RAM's.De IDT7132 is ontworpen om te worden gebruikt als een stand-alone 8-bit Dual-Port RAM of als een MASTER Dual-Port RAM samen met de IDT7142 SLAVE Dual-Port in 16-bit of meer woordbreedte systemenHet gebruik van de IDT MASTER/SLAVE Dual-Port RAM-benadering in 16- of meer-bits geheugen systeem applicaties resulteert in full-speed, foutloze werking zonder de noodzaak van extra discrete logica.Beide apparaten bieden twee onafhankelijke poorten met afzonderlijke controle-, adres- en I / O-pins die onafhankelijke, asynchrone toegang voor lezen of schrijven naar elke locatie in het geheugen mogelijk maken.Automatische uitschakeling, gecontroleerd door CE, laat de on-chipcircuits van elke poort toe om in een standby-modus met een zeer laag standby-vermogen te gaan.
