De MC34063A-serie is een monolithisch besturingscircuit dat de primaire functies bevat die vereist zijn voor DC-naar-DC-omvormers.vergelijkingsmiddel, gecontroleerde werkcyclusoscillator met een actief stroomlimietcircuit, een stuur en een uitgangsschakelaar voor hoge stroom.Deze serie is speciaal ontworpen om te worden geïntegreerd in Step-Down en Step-Up en Spanning-Invertering toepassingen met een minimum aantal externe componenten. Voor aanvullende ontwerpinformatie verwijzen zij naar de aantekeningen AN920A/D en AN954/D.
